Love the idea of the weight savings but the extra noise may not be worth it for me.

Thats good, I have been using a ghetto looking pipe/breaker bar to prop it up! I may have missed it, but what is your anticipated price on these?

Yup...same problem here...even with one of the stock shocks its still way too strong for the hatch...the hatch flexes every time u push it closed...i'd definitely be down for a pair of those weaker ones.

The weight differences between different CF hatches will make it challenging to come up with a single workable solution. On top of that, I'm sure many with CF hatches end up installing wings as well.
If anyone out there has a CF hatch and wing combo and are fine using the OEM struts, please let me know.
Merry Christmas everyone!

is there a way to make it super light? I have lexan no wing no panels no nothing, just CF hatch and lexan.
I cant even roll the windows down past 40mph since my hatch will fly away

I think what I'll have to end up doing will be two tiers of light-duty struts. One for those with incredibly light hatches like yours, and a set for those with CF hatches and OEM glass.
I'm thinking forces of 66% and 33% lighter than OEM struts respectively.

having bought my hatch strut replacements from JT, i can vouch for his quality of work. The new ones look great, and they were everything i was hoping for. The replacements i got were meant to hold the OEM hatch, glass and spoiler, but wow, the quality was actually better than nissan's.
as a side note...this is getting me considering the mastergrade hatch, as that's a HUGE weight savings.
