rust on Z WTF??
Well today i was waxing my Z and i came across a spec of which i thought was bird feces. On closer analysis i realized the paint chipped off and left the metal exposed which caused a tiny bit of rust. How do you repair? Can you repair this? Or am i just ****ed.

If it's indeed a spec, get some sandpaper, wrap it around a thin point, and get rid of the rust contaminants. It happened on my fender, I sanded the little area down to the metal, and applied touch up paint. You can't even see where it happened.

Wtf? Are you serious? Hahaha, I've never known another Arnold. I was always the only Arnold in my schools. How often did people crack "Hey Arnold" jokes with you?
But yeah, 1mm - like a grain of rice, right? That was basically the same sized spot I had. I used a pencil as a thin point.

The instructions on the Nissan touch-up paint container says to sand the area down, apply a coat of primer, apply a coat of color, let dry then apply a second coat of color, then apply clearcoat. (I don't have it in front of me, but I think I remember seeing this). To me that's a little excessive, but I guess that's what Nissan recommends so that if (rather, WHEN) the touch up paint wears off and a customer complains, they can say "did you follow the instructions on the package?" and 99% of the time the answer will be No so Nissan is covered.
