I have an 04 track with no side airbags. I am replacing the driver seat and purchased a used track seat with an airbag. What do I have to do to make the airbag functional?

Unfortunately, if your Z did not come wired for side airbags, it will be difficult to retrofit. The body harness is different and side load sensors are required to trigger the airbags. This was a project I tried without any luck.

 

Your help is much appreciated. I thought maybe everything would have been in place for it to just plug in.

Can the airbag be removed?
