Default Driver's Side Left Foot Rest

The plate on the left side where you could rest your foot was getting loose, so I attempted to tighten it up. I removed the 5 screws of the plate to get to the base, and then tried tightening the two plastic flat head type screws...

Didn't work though. I pulled off the whole thing to see underneath, but didn't see how I would tighten it up. I put everything back on, and now it's looser than ever.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

to the OP: I remember reading a thread on this subject not too long ago, and someone actually came up with a way to make it tight again. (without rebuying the whole bloody thing) It involved rubber bands I know for sure...and electrical tape or something?? I can't remember very well, but it seemed to be very effective. It shouldn't be too hard to find.

Possibly, if they're made in the right size...

DukeEntDotCom: awesome man, that's the one I was talking about. Glad you were able to find it. If that's what you decide to try, you should make a quick thread/post and let us know if it really does work (well.) Good luck
