Default Bought D2R bulbs....interchangeable with our D2S????

i ordered d2s bulbs from a local parts place, they sent d2r, im assuming no they arent interchangeable but i figure maybe they are and theyre actually better....??????

unless you have 06 bixenon headlights, you actually need d2r bulbs. They did you a favor by sending you the correct bulbs

I had both types of headlights.

bi xenons 06+ are D2R

03-05 xenons are D2S

03-05 uses D2R bulbs because they use reflector HID bulbs
06+ uses D2S bulbs because they use projectors HID bulbs

well thats great news cus that means i got the right bulbs.........
but why the hell did i have d2s's in there before???? (used car mustve had dumb owners b4). maybe that explains the really poor light ouput?

The d2s bulbs wouldn't even physically fit in the headlight properly without modification. Care to post a pic of your d2s bulbs that came out of your headlights?

Always buy products from established stores. I buy all my car lights and its accessories from underground lighting. They are very affordable and high quality products too.
