i was needing some help on installing my newly acquired air fuel gauge. I searched but could not find anything helpful! Only pictures of what people have in there car. I just want a little help on where to connect the wires too. I also have a boost gauge that i will take advice on where to tap into

Thank you,

Connect the AF sensor wire to the gauge wire?

For Boost, T Tap into the line that runs to the Bypass Valve?

i have an air fuel ratio gauge. Z-Series from autometer, its electronic and i think that sums it all up. i installed one on my Grand Prix GTP when i had that but it cam with a harness that tapped directly to the O2 sensor. so im confused with this car.

hope that helps

the gage didn't come with an o2 sensor? Usually you will weld in a new bung, install a new o2 sensor and connect it to the AFR gage. Esp if it's a wideband, since I don't think 03's have wideband o2's.

For the boost gage see below

Are you talking about the sensor wire or the power & ground wires?

i know what to do with the power and ground. But there are a white and a violet wire that im not 100% sure where they go. The Violet one is the signal wire between the connector and the PCM. The white is for the 12V dash lighting.

Hope that will solve the problem!! :/

if it's just a regular autometer a/f gauge don't even bother installing it as it's just something pretty to look at and not accurate. Buy a real wideband like aem or innovate.

This gauge will not accuratly give you AF please do not use it to tune your car, you will blow your engine. If you just want a dumby gauge by all means install it.

As for the wiring... easiest if you plan on installing on a pillar is to tap into the fues block in the drivers kick, otherwise if you are like me and install them in the center consol, the wiring is simple through the stereo. As for the sensors and what not, the wiring isnt hard, should only be 2 wires from your O2 sensor. Just follow the instructions.
