my second set of headlights (civic projectors before).
i used autobody masking tape, unfortunately it did leave that mess that i was too lazy to clean up (was getting late). AND the worst part is it peeled the chrome off a few small places that fortunately are hard to see. it took me the longest amount of time to apply extra paint to the back of the orange reflector AFTER the headlight was put together just through the bulb hole with a matchstick.....had to let less light through.
