Just got one a few weeks back and am working with them to try to trade it with a different base. The base I received was VERY "wavy" for lack of a better term. The body shop said it was 1/4" low in some spots, which would require MAJOR hours smoothing and leveling everything out on the base. The carbon fiber wing was good though. I'm not sure if this is how all of them are, but it will be an extra $300 or $400 in prep alone to make it look right plus the cost of painting. I'll update this post if he finds a better base that he can swap me with. Otherwise I'd stay away from them. Granted there is going to be a little prep work on all aftermarket stuff before painting, but when you rub your hand across the base of the wing, it feels like huge bumps all over the base so not the "average" prep work filling in pin holes, etc.

Thanks for your detail explanation man. If it'll cost you another $300 or $400 in prep on top of paint job, I would rather buy the real deal to avoid fitment issue. Thanks!!!

Id suggest looking at the replicas that Evo-r produces.

As far as i know, the real Type 2 has been discontinued, but theres a new version of it ocming out that has an integrated brake light. Not sure how much though.

Really. Hopefully it'll look the same as V2 with the 3rd brake light. I'll get it for sure.

Thanks guys. Actually my manager Andy knows the Andy that works at Performance Nissan. He had his Maxima & G35 serviced by Andy at Performance before. I'll go talk to him maybe later tonight since the dealership is only couple blocks down from me.

Have you tried punksterz626? I'm considering buying a V2 Spoiler from him and he has received some very positive feedback.
