I'm surprised they let you import the car with the "wrong" gauges and odometer. US Customs won't... or maybe that's just on a new vehicle. Yeah, that must be it. Nevermind.
Good looking Z, btw. And welcome from Bham!

REALLY??? I remember seeing that and thinking that I didn't need that. I seem to recall something like toggling your digital display to the speedometer, then hitting the ^ button below the top "toggle" button to change from mph to kilometers.

I also imported a new Z into canada in aug. I havent checked the dealer yet but i was told they can change the programming using the scan tool i think. Thats what i was told. I am going to check in april when i am able to drive it again. I hate winter!! I am sure canadian models you can change the display using the buttons. Check the dealer. I had no prob getting my new Z into canada other than the drl lights had to glue headlight switch to the on position. they time out after 1 min.

When I imported a motorcycle a few years ago, they got all hung up over the odometer, not the speedo. Dunno why. Fortunately it was an all-digital display, and one-button switchable. Off topic... I miss that bike. Thanks for reminding me.

i have a japanese Z and it it KM/H and Celsuis. The 'display' doesnt actually do anything, its the signal it gets that also needs changing. Even if you manage to change it electronically like i have, from km/h to mp/h, the 'pod' still 'says' km/h, its part of the display, the letters.. . .so yo would have to change that also. Im sure you can get a device that will change from mph to km/h, but you would also have to get a cener pod to represent the new digits, unless you are happy with it reading 'mph'
