Default What do you think of the "Zee-Bracket"??

Anyone have a Zeebracket installed for their front plate? Will it fit on an 08 and do you still have to drill holes to mount it?? Any good pics other than what's on their website would be appreciated.

I've gotten stopped twice for no front plates, but I keep my front plate and a bracket in the car and every time I got pulled over I told the cop I just bought the bracket and going home to put it on Worked every time

Couldn't do that with my 350 as it would starve my IC. So I just left my plate in the window. Got stopped a few times, but ended up BSing with the cop everytime. lol

I don't like it. It blocks too much airflow to the lower grille. It needs to be mounted higher like the original.

Good point. To those who have the bracket, does it block too much air flow and, I assume you still have to drill some holes??

IIRC, it screws into the factory tow hook location, so no drilling is required.

my boss has it, it looks good an i wouldnt be to concerned with it "blocking airflow" unless your turbo with a intercooler and trying to get every HP out of it.

My intake is off-center on the drivers side.

The Zee-Bracket worked great when I had to take care of "No Front Plate" fix-it-ticket. I took it back off right after of course.

That plate does block the air. If you were racing the car on a track it could overheat, of course you wouldn't race with a plate in front of the grille anyways. I'm going to custom make one for my nismo z to go where the tow hook is. It will have to be long enough and only a third of the plate will block the grille area.

You can flip the Z-bracket 180 degrees and the plate will mount higher up and clear of the air intake so no airflow is blocked. It will clear the bumper cover by about 3/4-1 inch and not damage the paint. Installed it that way on our '03 and on our '06 (till we changed the nose, anyways)

ZeeBracket doesn't look to screw into tow hook. Instead, it looks like it attaches to the grill itself. Looks like it is quite close to the grill, and I could see it blocking airflow.

The Stillen one screws into tow hook. I have that for '06, and it sits out far enough that I don't think it will impede airflow to anything. But, even with the lock-tite on it, I have to level it once a year (it sometimes get knocked askew)

Do you have any pics of the Stillen installed?

Thanks,
