Default How to remove OEM spoiler?

Yes I searched and just came up with tons of threads where people are asking to BUY an OEM spoiler.

Anyway I found a forum member who wants to sell me his Solor Orange OEM spoiler but he does not know how to remove it, he says he cannot see any bolts in the trunk to remove it.

Can anyone shed some light, or point me in a direction??

Much appreciated.

they are held on with very strong adhesive. there are plenty of threads on this bro, search a little harder. use some fishing line to run underneath.

I actually had a friend use fishing line in a sawing motion to seperate the double sided tape, and then I squeezed a piece of fabric (pillowcase) under the end and grabbed both ends of it to pull up so the fishing line went through and seperated it easier. Kept it from scratching and wadded up linen is pretty strong...

Make sure you pull up both ends first and hten the middle so the posts that go through the holes don't bend the metal around them.

Then comes the hard part, removing the 3m tape. I soaked it in Goo gone, then used a towel and my fingernail to remove the tape. It took forever.
