lol, now that i look at it they do look like subaru headlights, but they're actually stock BMW 5-series taillights at least for the 07+. they look HOT! but im still thinking how they would look on the z if they were in the back. i think if someone came up with a turnsignal for the side-view-mirrors with something similar to tht it would be cool...HINGT HINT...

Also, after seeing that tail light, that's something that looks like i'd like to try out too! Never done a tail light before!!

Either way, I'll start putting together something with the parts I have laying around my condo just to get a head start. And yes, i'll be sure to post pictures and possible video for something you'll have a controller for. Anybody else have some ideas they'd like to see get done??

well ****. I was looking forward to some Terminator headlights

I'll PM you back tonight about painting my headlights...still haven't found a clear reflective strip to send you, am I not looking in the right place?

Not when exposed to excess heat, IvoryGT did this on some g35 projectors and they died within a few months, accordfreak also did a halo ring around the projector which also failed. Heat management will be key here

It depends a lot on the type of LED's used. I'd dish out some examples for you real quick, but my wife is nagging at me to swiffer the floor before our guests arrive *Coming dear*

Well, I'm not going to get to hold onto them as long as i thought. He needs them back in two weeks, which doesn't give me much time to develop a really fail proof method. Still, i'm going to try like hell to get something going, but they may just be "store bought" halo's i'm putting on for him. Should look great either way.

If anyone reading this thread wouldn't mine doing so, will you please give me a hand in looking for lights for sale? Here, ebay, junk yard, news paper, etc... Any help I can get, I'm very willing to work out a deal for some custom work. They don't even have to be 350z head lights for testing, but would be better if they at least had HID projectors. Bulbs and ballasts aren't even needed.

Also, I just bought a set of broken 03-05 lights for testing. One of the things I'll be working on, is a bi xenon mod that would be cheaper than actually buying 06 lights using the housing from an Infinity. We'll see how that goes? First thing first, LED stuff.

Good eye! Can you do me a favor and watch the item for me? I don't have an Ebay account but am interested in picking this up. Depending on price, you should bid on it and i'll send you a check to cover the cost (obviously) if you win. Or I could ask by brother I guess? Either way...

Nice! I like those. I'll look into that when I get a chance. I'm thinking I'll stay pretty busy with the head lights for a while, but once I get some good things going....
