Default rock chips in glass

I have 2 small chips in the front winshield. Very minor, but still annoying. Have any of you guys repaired this sort of thing and how did you do it?... and how well did it work? Have it done? How well did that work and how expensive was it?

Thanks
-MS

Any auto glass shop can fix it, doesn't cost much and you'll never see it. I don't know about doing it yourself though.

i once heard insurance had to take care of it if you had the right coverage. Actually now i think about it, my windshield in my audi was cracked so i called them and they said they would have fixed it if i had the right coverage. Then, i am guessing, by from the typing in the background, i think they recorded the fact that the windshield was cracked so i couldnt claim it some other time lol. From what I remember it had nothing to do with deductables. good luck
