I'm looking to redo my door panels exactly like the one pictured in this thread but need to know how much bride fabric I should purchase and how much suede/alcanatar I should pick up.... I need to know dimensions to cover both and maybe a little more just incase I want to wrap something else in it....

Are you redoing the panels yourself? If someone else is doing just ask them, they should know. Or ask a shop that repolsters for an estimat on how much material you should order.

 

what are your thoughts on a ruler? or perhaps a tape measure?

 

Actually I was hoping someone had done this before and would just give me how much they used.

 

find out the width of the material....and also how the pattern goes. does the bride logos go horizontal or vertical...usually fabrics are like 50-60 inches wide, then sold by the yard...find that out then measure....and always order too much. better too much than not enough.
