Default Seat wear

I have a 2007 with about 3200 miles on it, noticed today the driver's seat outer bolster is already showing signs of wear!
I've had the car for about 7 mths. and I don't drive it daily still it shows this wear.
Anyone gone thru this? What do you guys think Nissan will say/do about this issue? I'm taking it in for warranty asap.
Not too happy...mmmm

Don't think Nissan will cover it. They will probably say wear n' tear like they did to me. You just have to make sure you don't rub the outer edge when you first sit.

like a decent excuse for Brides. Seats are a high wear/tear area. Yes, it has only been a few months but I am not really surprised.

I've had mine for about 7 months and have the same issues. +1 on not rubbing against the bolsters when you get in / out.

I have a habit of rubbing the bolsters when getting in my car. My 06' is still brand new, no obvious signs of wear, but I can see a little depending on the amount of light and the angle of viewing. I hardly get in and out of this car, I drive it only seldom, hence the 651 mile tag on my odometer reading

They'll send a rep down it will get covered...just don't have your wallet in your back pocket, they'll say the wallet is causing the wear on the seat.

Hopefully I'll have some time to take it in this week, I'll keep you guys posted as to how it goes.
Wear & tear, yes, but on a 3K mile, brand new car?
I don't think even KIAs suffer from this, why should we?

I know some people who have had seats recovered under warranty due to quick wear. Just get it in before they change the fabric again or the two sides may not match exactly.
