I'm thinking about putting on either a nismo cf pillar or a varis cf pillar, both with adhesive backing. Should I do it? I'm mainly concerned about the adhesive...will it hold?

 

I had mine on my old Z (the flipped one) for 3 years. Yes they hold very well. Just be sure to prep the area well. I used rubbing alcohol and cotton *****.

 

+1 on prepping the area first. I've got the Nismo one and am very happy with it. I hear the cheaper ones fade and get yellow.

 

I have a generic one that I got from the Z store (link below) and its been on for about 4 months now...still holding strong, but before I put it on, I prepped the area and used a 3M plastic/vinyl adhesive that is sold at Autozone and I contribute the durability to that product.

Mastergrade makes some great ones that are guaranteed not to fade.

 

the NISMO ones are awesome...on my car for about 2 years now
