Also, that thing says it uses an RF transmitter...and i would expect that to add some more delay to the shift times. Id rather have it wired directly to the car to eliminate the additional delay.

I have not be able to find the one plugs i was going to use to use plug and plug it
so i may end up using wire taps, and/or may require some sodering of 4 wires to the oem, But the wires should be easy to get to and not require the removal of the A/C unit.
Looks very nice but you've got us all stirred up and looking at competition now so ya really gotta hurry up
I'd pay for a premium product if this is done up right 1-2 hundy isn't a prob

Looks great James!!! Hope everything is coming along well... I would love to see multiple pics of exactly where the paddles end up along the steering wheel viewed from multiple angles.
I don't know why people want the paddles attached to the wheel though, I found that to become a problem in lower speed cornering... Has anyone ever sat inside a Ferrari F430 with the F1 gearbox? The paddles are PERFECT in that car... you don't need them to move with the wheel, you know exactly where they are at all times. Really it comes naturally pretty quickly, just like knowing when you need to move your hand over to the gear lever in a manual during racing...
Anyway, can't wait for the paddles! Hopefully I can get them soon! I need to do the valve body upgrade too though for those faster shifts.

The ideal setup will be for the paddle shifters to be attached to the steering column, not the steering wheel. As when braking, the ideal time for you to shift is when you're driving straight ahead, not when you're turning. And please don't compare our run-of-the-mill car to an F1 race car that has the shifters on the wheel.
