I did a quick addition of the parts, its about $600 all together. But i came up with a redeign of some of the parts, that may cut the price down. Im almost done with the redesign, and have to take it back for a new qoute anything to help cut the cost down guys.

James,

I think you need to consider when dealing with the machine shop that you have almost 20 individuals who are strongly considering buying this product. If you can workout a group buy whereas the first "20" members will pay at this price, then I'm sure the machine shop can do a volume discount with that many initial guarantee. $600 is fairly steep for most of us especially since it really doesn't buy you any performance gains. However, if you can get it down to a more resonable cost, I think most of us will jump at this opportunity.

Here's the latest list by the way:

Yep, i always ask for a quote for 1, 5, 20 units. I know the price was a little steep but i want to get something to you guys. That was just a rough qoute too. Hopefully, my redesign will bring the cost down too. Once i get the qoute and drawings done, im going to have them start working on the machining, then i have to run a test on the parts make sure they work like they are suppost to then ill have them run the other units. My dad is welling to front the money before i sell them, so you guys dont have to put anything down for it.

Awesome, James! I'm sure your dad knows there's a huge market for your product so it's really not a high-risk venture. Also, I'm sure you & your dad have already thought about getting a patent pending for this product. Do you happen to have a picture of your re-designed paddle shifter?

Update,
Machine shop hasnt give me a qoute yet. He was super busy this pass couple days. He'll try to get in today or tomorrow.

I have started the drawing for the Shift ****, and then get a qoute for those. Question about the ****, material: Alumn. or Stainless steel?
