^^^This is what my idea was when i first started this thread but my paint program skills are horrible :~( so the negitive feedback left me hangin..

haha im not going to spend the time to rip the lights out, bake them and install if i already got 4 to say no in the first minute haha, just thought i would throw out an idea.

 

that photoshop is beyond horrible. I think it ACTUALLY might look good with COMPACT LEDS like on the merc, they cant be big an obnoxious like the photoshop example. all this coming from a guy that is 90% against ANY ricey body/lighting mods. do it and post up. seriously guys that photoshop kills his case lol, give it a shot.

lose those effing eyelids though. god I hate that crap. "makes my car look mean" well it makes you look like a pnssy! take off the ricerlids!

dont need photoshop assistance. if the LEDS are compact like on the merc it will look like a solid LED line with a little texture. I think it'll look great...if you lose those g.d. eyelids...lol

 

hahah that was another little photoshop attempt lol (CF eyelids) but seriously, the leds that i was looking at are compact and there is like a tone of them, my photoshop is desiving because it was on paint and i tried making a glowing halo look around where each bulb would be but i get like 3 pixles per frame hahah so it looks like im playing tetris lol i dono tho, if people dont even like the thought of it then i dono if i wanna spend another 5 hrs ripping my lenses off and $60 for lights

I voted no. That has got to be one of the worst mods you could do to any car. Not even the R8 deserves to be "gay'd up".

 

hahah ohh boy....someone missed the 2008 autoshow.

the R8 def. wasnt gay'ed up, even with the leds, thats like saying H.I.D.'s gay up every car. the white led (6000k to be techniqual) is bright enough on a audi S5 to light 10ft ahead of the road at dark. these led's, being USEFUL could serve as a good/positive mod without boarderlining RICE or "GAY" but for a blue or red or green led set up: Illegal/USELESS is what could be considered "GAY" :~) my .02
