Default Nismo Ball Shift **** - White

Anyone have this in their car? I'm thinking about it for my PPW Z. Just got a alcantara boot with white stitching and was wondering if it would go good.

I can't say what the color would be like, I have the black one in my car and I love how small it is.

One thing about them though, when I first screwed it on, it did not go all the way down flush with the where the old **** had. So I took it off and used a big drill bit to open up the bottom about a half inch in so it would go flush.

I have the white one on my PPW.. Looks great!! A little small when it comes to hard shifting but looks great. I also have the bluebatmobile's white overlays under the gauges and behind door handles.

I didnt have the same problem HyperSprite had with the screwing on... Hardest thing is getting the stupid stock one off! Damn thats crazy huh?

I just got my black ball... love it!

I guess I need to drill out the bottom a bit.

Hypersprite: did you drill out the base or above where the rod threads in?

It's been years since I did this but if I remember correctly, the shifter lever tapers down to the threads. The ball gets to the taper and stops screwing on before it is all the way flush. Using a fairly big bit, I just opened up the bottom a little bit so the taper could enter into the ball a little and it worked out great.
