I really want to get some eye lids for my 08 Nismo and read a few threads that some owners were painting the inside of their lights instead. Does anyone have pictures of either eye lids or painted lights?

Did you ever ask yourself why not both?
I'm digging out the extra cash doing both to try to set myself apart.

• Painted housing look GOOD
• Eyelids make the car look MEAN

 

if you cant choose, the combo looks great on 06+ housings.

 

It's a somewhat old pics. I actually don't have the eyelids anymore. Am planning on getting them again.

 

I have the eyelids, but am taking these off. I am currently in the painting process of the "mad" eyelids that I purchased last week.

I don't even know where to start with getting these off of my lights. I think they are 3M taped, but it feels like they are "cemented" on there...plus I don't want to pull to much for fear they would crack in this 20 degree weather we have right now. Here is a pic with both painted headlight housing and eyelids. I already have my eyelids and in process of getting them painted and I will be painting my headlights sometime soon. I'm pretty much going for the same look here.

I personally like the look of the eye lid and the painted headlights. I would do it but I got 04 headlights

 

the eyelids look good on kitted Z's stock z's dont look all that great with eyelids... imo i'd do both and throw some aero on it...

My 08 Blacked out headlights are scheduled to arrive from Mr.Zipps tomorrow via UPS.... I have Carbon fiber AUT eyelids I was going to paint and put on but I am back and forth...

I had 04 lights with the eyelids and it looked good, I got a lot of compliments but still up in the air... To eyelid or not to eyelid... That is the question.. ?? LOL

 

I want to paint mine so bad... i love my eyelids.. i just dont know if the mix willl look good??

 

I vote paint! (In some cases, do both)

 

what color is your car? i don't think painted headlights look good on all colors. but eyelids are definately ftl.
