Wait a minute... that's MY Z on there.. and it's my friend's shop that's in.. that's so wrong because they don't have permission at all for that. Another thing that's wrong is I'm sure that is complete false advertisement. I bet they're advertising the fitment of a replica Nismo kit when in fact the kit in the picture is the genuine NISMO kit.

And no, I believe him. Take a look at the way the color of the car and the door handle contrast, both of the pic is SS, and his car is SS also.

If that is the case...we need to start marking all of the picture we put on this site, This is SO WRONG.

We want to share pictures of our car with everyone on the site, and we end up getting jack and turn into an ad without getting paid.

that's funny...it even says "lotus" in his name....and there's the lotus right behind him.

Ok let's clear something up, those are two different cars. The first picture is my Z. The 2nd is not mine. You're right, that is johnlotusboy's car. Notice he removed the sidemarkers from his front bumper. Mine are still intact. 2 different cars. why would I lie. Plus check out the thread I jsut posted. Even members of this forum have seen the car as it was put together on those pictures.

 

ok, the first one is yours....not the second. i would complain that they took your picture. but, the second....john did say that the company can use his pic (from what i know).

 

taking a picture and using it is fine....cause you posted it....it's a free for all then (unless you put a copyright on it) putting a watermark on it and claiming it as your own...now that's wrong.

also...sorry for the accusation. i did see that it was your car. i was just commenting on the second one.

It's alright, no offense taken. And you're right I did post it up and it's free for people to see and use, but there is something wrong with them claiming it's theirs without permission. Anyone have info on the company doing it? the watermark says BCS Engineering.

 

Nissan350ZTT, if you look at the thread i gave a link to, and then check out the first page, there are closeups of the shots and you can tell that it's darker and a silverstone. It could just be the lighting on that particular picture

they are getting business off of your picture. you should get a cut!! it's not right to put a watermark on someone elses picture and claim it as their own!!
