I'm in South Korea, and the price varies a lot depending on the quality of the job. I'm not planning on dropping the engine, but the quality will be top notch and the engine room will be painted as much as possible with black paint. Pretty much every pieces will be pulled apart except for the engine and the drivetrain, so all the edges and nooks will be painted, so the original color won't be visible unless I lift the car up to see the bottom. Dupont paint and clear will be used. All this costs just under $2000. Remember... Korean labor is pretty cheap.

Do orange, it looks great. I painted mine lambo orange (paint code 0058)back in 2003 and never got pulled over by cops.
Heres a link to it.

I won't be pulling out my engine for the color change.. Nonetheless the shop is going to paint the engine room flat black for me (Yes, they can do it without pulling the engine out.. lots of labor masking little stuff!!), since flat black goes well with lambo orange than the daytona blue..

I had to repair the Shine amuse CSL front diffuser. It was so low that I was pretty much digging the ground with it... Well, the diffuser split in half laterally and had two holes underneath. Also, you might notice that I cut off the engine tray(?) portion of the diffuser. I replaced it with the stock engine tray cover. When I scraped the front diffuser, the torsional stress and everything else transferred to the engine cover and it was getting ripped as well... On top of that it was messy to change oil and oil filter with it... Just too much headache to deal with, so I went ahead and chopped it up. Just a FYI for those Shine amuse CSL front diffuser owners out there.

What paint code did you go with? Yeah I shaved the useless rear wiper too. It looks cleaner that way. I'm planing on painting my g37 the same color, or maybe the ppg sunburst. Thats funny cause mine was daytona blue too.
