Default All Interior, All black, project Pics inside

Not really sure if Im going to get flamed for this or not, I dont care even if I do, but I am using duplicolor gloss black on the interior of my car, the carpets & plastic stuff. Spraying bulldog on first.

Heres some pics of the trunk (tan to black), & the door (tan/grey to black), is it just me or does the door look freakin weird?

Let me know what you guys think, I'm probably going to re-do everything anyway, just to get it down perfect, but I'm really tired of my bland *** interior, thats why I'm doing this. Having black leather seats put in soon to.

why not trade with someone with a black interior? There are a lot of people out there looking for frost interiors. Why do the panels look so glossy?

+100000000

Why not at least pop that stuff off and then paint? I'm not sure about how well it's gonna turn out,(how well the paint will hold up and such), but best of luck.

Come on dude. You've been on this forum for more than 6months. If you did any reading in the audio/video section you'd see there are plenty of how to's on taking your interior apart. And you've seen plenty of stock black interiors. If you wanted a black interior that badly you could have bought a Z with it in the first place!

Ok guys I think I'm backing out of this stuff, I'll prolly take the interior out & have someone re-upolster it, even though the guy I talked to over here said "it would be a lot of work to take the upulstry apart.
So maybe if I take it all out & just give him the peices, he wont charge me out the ***...

Great, I guess I fukced up. *puts head down*

The door looks freakin weird because you sprayed gloss black over that textured plastic. Maybe semi or flat would've came out better. Are you gonna try to get that off?

Interesting............. Don't think I've ever seen anyone do that before.....

Kind of reminds me of the plastic interior in the model cars.

hey dude, im just chiming in to let you knwo that taking apart the center console and door panels and rest of the interior plastics is not a big deal...i did this for the first time a couple months ago and like the others have said on here, just search...there are threads with pictures and step by step processes...if you are even the least bit handy, you should have no problem...check the diy sections too
