Chrome/Billet Aluminum Door Handle?
Does anyone know of a company that sells billet aluminum or even chrome exterior door handles? sorry if this is a repost, i am at work and lucky i was even able to get this far. internet is all wacky today
i thought about painting them to match. but longevity becomes and issue. with the oils on your hand i am sure the paint would either fade or scratch due to dirt from everyday driving. not to mention the door handles are unique to the Z so why not show them off. It would match great with my chrome rims.
I didnt paint the metal OEM handles, I got plastic ones that are very durable and hold paint well. After 5 years they look and feel the same as the day I bought them. But if that is the look you are going for then go for it.

1. Open your door
2. Remove the 2 plastic rubber pieces right behind the door handles
3. Use a 10mm long socket to remove the 2 bolts behind the rubber pieces (be careful not to let the bolts drop down into the door or you'll be really pissed taking off the whole door to find it.
4. Slide the door handles out
5. To re-install just do the same thing but reserve the instruction.
