Default rubber trim around handbrake

Long story short, the rubber trim around the hand brake was tampered with when installing an avic-d3. It now doesnt seem to stay locked into the plastic center console and lifts up on the ends. Anyone know how to fix this?

My description isnt the best but I can provide a cell phone pic later today if it would help.

I'm fixing the exact same thing today and came to the conclusion that super glue will work. It seems to self destruct when you remove it. I went to a Nissan dealer and they couldn't find the rubber finisher piece on micro film and said it comes attached to the plastic console piece from the factory. Basically told me I'd have to buy the whole console piece.

I don't know if they're right or just couldn't find the part so I'm just going to glue it.

I posted this same exact question a few weeks aga and didn't get an answer on the part.

find a junkyard and get a new one. I tried to get the piece by itself a couple years ago but at the time, it was not sold separately (came with the full center console)
