UPDATED WITH NEW PICS

Well, it's been a while since i've done any posting in this section. I used to paint a lot of head lights (in many colors) for people and posted in this area a couple times a week. I even had sets pre made that I could just ship and swap out with someone giving them 0 down time. But after selling my Z, I kinda stepped away from the forums and moved in with the Datsun 510 crowd making carbon fiber parts for them guys. But, after someone PM'd me about doing a set of FX35 lights for him, I decided to see if any other people might be interested? I deleted all the pictures I had before, so these first few are the only ones I have. I'll post more as I do more. $150 shipped (normally). PM me if interested.

Took these today. Did a little test fit to see how the angel eyes were going to look. Gonna turn out pretty well I think. Post up finished pics ASAP.

Are these CCFL rings? If not, do you make them yourself too or only install them? Nice work, by the way.

 

They are ccfl rings in a casing. Keep the inverters accessible, the 95mm inverters have been failing.

Another set completed. From the sound of it, 3-5 people should be sending me their lights this week. Many more pics to come.

haha, I know, I really want to too. Just right now, there's no way I can justify $1300 on such a trivial 'want.' Trust me though, you'd be the first one to get your hands on 'em if I did.

 

I doubt there are many people paying full price for those head lights now?? About a year ago I paid the most I've ever paid for a set of lights. A set of 06's for $900 shipped. I would guess that you could find a set for a couple hundred cheaper now if you did some investigating? But you're right, it's a LOT of money to spend just for a "want".

 

Hey man I was wondering if you had any '06 headlights on hand..... b/c i have a daily driven 06 Z and it would be hard to see at night w/out them haha, thats the only thing keeping me from getting mine painted black.....

 

^ I had to schedule my work so that I left before sundown every shift! haha Yeah, I would say try to find something to use while they're being worked on.
