It took off about half of the mark, but it's still there, and i'm still after a black headliner.

It does crazy things with older beige leather from what i've seen.

my question was, does the paint chip off the plastics after a little while (like you always see in Civics)
and how are you going to attach the fabric to the headliner?

It will last a while the way i'll do it. And fabric adhesive.

Use SEM to paint the plastic pieces to match the black headliner.

Anyone ever watch Unique Auto? Watch how they do the head liners and all the plastic parts. It isn't that hard. Comes out great looking.

Sand the parts down so it makes the surface rough, paint them with the special interior panel primer paint and then paint them.
