Default 07 aftermarket seats

did a search didnt really come up with much info on the topic..this is what im looking to do...
passenger and driver bride (model undetermined at the moment) seats.
my question is will i get any of the lights pop up?
i do know of the resistor plug, will that do the trick?

I have an 06 base and i switched to sparco's and I did not have any lights come on at all.... I thought i would but as of a year now there are non.

does your car have a sensor in the passenger seat?
you using the resistor plugs as well?

If you mean, when you sat in them w/out the seat belt a light would come on then yes it has a sensor... but as of right now w/ them unplugged the wires are just under my seat with no lights on for over a year. I did not do anything but unplug them from the seat. ** please note that I do not have airbags in my seats **

Anybody else that has done the same (installing aftermarket seats with just unplugging the wiring of the OEM seats) to a 06+??

I know there's an excellent DIY here https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ghlight=airbag

It requires the resistors and dealing with the weight sensor. I'm planning on getting some aftermarket seats for my 07 and would hate to get the weight sensor off the OEM seat roll it up on zip ties etc etc...
