Default fender repair..

Some a-hole clipped my fender and left a small crease in the passanger side rear fender. Unfortunately, i did not witness it. i took the car to a pretty reputable paintless dent removal shop and the dude there told me that he need to drill a hole in the wheel well to access the panel and he can't guarantee how good the repair can be. it is hard to see on the picture, so i circled it. i figure this will cause alot to repair if i take it to the body shop. Any suggestions? Anyone tried Dent King DIY kit? how good is it?

I tried the dent king and it might work on your big dent but not on the little at the edge of the fender. It did not for me on a couple of door dings I got on my rear fender and passenger door. As many times as I tried, it just would not pull out the small indentation. I'm going to go to a few body shops to get their opinion.

thanks. Keep us posted on what the body shop says. I guess my only solution is to wait for someone to make a fender flare for the Z and put it over the dent to cover it up. :-(

It looks like a small dent. I would leave it alone if you could live with it, because chrome silvers are the hardest paint to match.

Bump.

I have a similar situation to this and looking for a general DIY. If you could help, I'd appreciate it.

that area has some tar coating i believe, thats why he can't access it. Drilling a hole is the usual way the body shop guys do it...

Since ur in SD (me too), try http://www.denttime.com/ and have them check it out.

I'm in Portland, Oregon, actually. FYI - my collison repair quote for a dent of similar magnitude (see below) was $420. I have to look elsewhere.
