Default carbon fiber trunk

i dont know oif this is a repost but i couldnt find it, well im looking into getting a carbon fiber trunk for myz but i just want to know what im getting into before i do it... i wanna know how hard is it to do or do i have to pay a body shop to do it.... do i need to replace my back glass or does it fit onto the carbon trunk, also what else do i need to install

I can be of assistance.

I would suggest having a body shop do the install. Depending on the brand, some hatches need more adjustments then others. As far as glass you have a few options:

Lexan rear window kit- These are sold seperatly for $200 or so. A good thing about lexan is the obvious weight savings.

Swap over your OEM glass- Most glass shops charge around $100. If you get it installed at a body shop, they can swap the glass for you. The good thing about OEM glass is you can tint it, use your rear wiper, and your rear defrost. You can not do those things with lexan.

If your looking for an OEM style hatch we have the Seibon hatches. Otherwise, if you want a more aggressive look we have the Mastergrade hatch.

thanks for this advice the funny thing is i just called you guys right now to ask for help lol, but how does the mastergrade one look any pics? or where could i find it

that is the nicest Z i have seen yet. probably cost a fortune just for the bodywork.

Because its plastic and can't be heated up. You could spray tint it I guess.
