one guy who did this mod said he made custom vent covers that attached inside the engine bay to the hood... i guess you only need it when it rains and if you like to keep your engine bay nice and clean...

I'm down for the Nismo RS hood Jim. Clean and simple and doesn't scream attention at all.

It'd be either if we did it.
I'm gonna talk to Mastegrade today about it. They have a few OEM CF hood laying around they can use to play with.

Price...because Mastergrade uses the highest quality materials there prices tend to be higher then most other places. Especially, when it's something taht the customers
could do themselves. Our fiberglass version would be about $625 shipped and Carbon Fiber around $750 shipped.

They just finished the prototype and will begin the mold on Friday. I'll have some better pictures then.

Has anyone seen an OEM Nismo RS hood? Are the vents smoothed out over the edges.
From the hoods that I've seen cut out, they seem a little unfinished when you look at them up close.
