Does anyone know if there is a replica hood like the one from the 350z race car with the 4 louvers on each side? could someone chop that hood onto a stock black 350z?

 

Is the Hasemi carbon fiber hood, that is if you are talkin bout the Nismo racing Z at the Tokyo Autosalon, the red

 

the style hood is the only kind i like
reminds me of the RE amemiya hood for the RX7 that i wanted so bad

 

its not the hasemi hood, its alot like the scoot rx7 hood but without the ram air part, heres a pic of the hood im talking about i found a company that will be making it but not till next year and i dont want to wait that long and was curious if anyone else was making jgtc knock off parts

mate.... I think the original nismo racing hood looks just like the one that Hasemi provides though.... correct me if I am wrong...

hasemi just doesnt have them as big


the scoot hood is a viper rip-off thats why the RE-Amemiya hood is a better example

I like our hood just the way it is. The little vents on the side are OK but I think that it doesn't really add anything to the car...

 

from what i hear the SC Z's are building alot of heat.
a hood like this would be benificial for dissipating the heat.
3rd gen RX7 owners buy hoods like that to help with their heat problems.

 

well thats a good reason to get one. I think the Kaminari hood would be the most beneficial for this as the hood scoop may be right where the supercharger would be...

 

The Kaminari has a forward facing scoop which would invite more cool air, but has no backwards scoop to dissipate.
