Default Carbon Creations blows

I cant beleive they charge 700 bucks retail for this CF veilside v2 replica. The fitment is way off, looks like it shrank when they produced it from the original mold. The wing is also a bit wavy even compared to crap from seibon. Im just happy I decided against drilling holes and just removed the bolts from the wing. I cant line up the bottom because If it pulled down any further the pointy front part would lift up...ugg

On a good note, it only cost me 300 bucks and it looks good from a few feet IMO ,O yea thanks to FullmetalZ for hook it up

Ouch! That is almost as bad as the fitment of my EVO-R carbon fiber wing. Looks like another lesson in "you get what you pay for."

CC is terrible. It's not even a case of "get what you pay for". It's a case of them overcharging for complete and utter s***. I already made a rant in another thread about the best carbon fiber.

I believe it was a front bumper though... I think I even have pics of how terrible the fitment was. The owner actually ended up putting his stock bumper (that was all beat up) on over having that POS fitment piece on. (I believe it had the same issues as well... it was like shrunk... like they just molded the inside of a stock bumper with a lip or something... just terrible)

for anyone looking into carbon creations... this isn't a one-time freak accident. My friend has the same wing and it fits exactly the same. He also got it second hand for around the same price. And he has the same color car as you too. LOL. oh well, it does look good from a couple feet back.

Lesson: DON'T BUY CARBON CREATIONS!!!

Until they fix their fitment and QA issues, I don't think it's fair for them to continue charging what they charge for each piece.

I thought it was common knowledge that anything Carbon Creation makes is basically crap.

I feel bad for the OP though...at least you've managed make the end product look ok.

That's too bad, but I must admit, those pics are kinda funny. You really need some type of rear bumper though.

If you did a search on here, you'd find that plenty of people have warned about the fitment on carbon creations parts. I believe it's the same company/manufacturer as extreme dimensions and that company low and behold has crappy fitment too.

It's a shame though, as their INGs style rear looks really good.

Totally agree..2000 later for the CC full kit..just the kit.. not including the 1250 extra for the body shop to bend wrap pry stretch and whatever else they need to do to get a correct fit. Not to mention the laughs and remarks made behind my back of me being a sucker once I left. The sad part is I though thet were a top notch company just from their exposure and the fact that "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" exempt from their product. I hate them and they set me back in crazy amounts of cash and time on my Z. Needless to say it lasted a month then it was EBAYED away to some other lucky guy. I HATE THEM
