Default Courtesy Nissan Z Badge help!

Had my Courtesy Nissan Z Badges installed last week by a professional body shop. They did it free because I recently had some work done there.

Now, the back emblem is ALREADY peeling up a bit on one side! I'm afraid they didn't clean it well before adhering. Does anyone know of a good apoxy to spot stick that side? I want to avoid peeling the entire thing off.

Suggestions please...

crazy glue, hot glue, etc... these of course are only good if you plan to leave the Z badge on...

contact courtesy.. they told me they will be warrantying the tape on the badges.. i dont think it was 3m mounting tape but only foam tape.. mine is having the same problem.

I think it will come off MUCH easier than the original badges...DONT use epoxy/glue.. you will regret that some day

No, I am talking about the "Z" badges that replace the Nissan badging on the front bumper and trunk.

The front badge isn't sticking too well. The outermost edges on the sides aren't sticking. I am suprised that they didn't use quality tape.

Yeah...mine is still sticking but if I push on it..you can feel it go down a little like its getting a better hold if you push on it. If it comes off I hope they'll replace it for free or something.

Two choices, take off the emblems and use 3M automotive trim tape, or use 3M Emblem glue which is usually available at auto parts stores. Both work great, the emblem glue wont hurt your paint, but will be a pain to get off later; you'll have to use a solvent to remove it.

how do you remove the 350 Z emblem? what tools should i use? i just purchased my fairlady emblem also. And, is there a certain area of the rear trunk that it's supposed to be at? I don't want it to look out of place. I want it exactly like the japanese model.

That's what I used for my 350Z emblem. That and a little WD-40 to get off the residue.

maybe i will try the 3m glue! Thanks!

the fishing line is a great idea... i plan to remove the "350z" as well!!
