How much did it cost to get the seats re-covered?

No they are not seat covers. I made the selection of the leather to be used, the color and the color of the stiches. The work and installation was done by Classic Soft Trim at Ft Lauderdale, FL. They have shops in different locations. They are a company that does the leather for dealers.. so when someone goes to the dealer and they want their interior in leather or they want their seat fixed for any reason the dealer takes the car or interior to them and they do it... then the dealer marks-up the price of the car because it has leather...

Thanks for the complements.

the boot was made by Lightning Auto Customs

lightningautocustoms@earthlink.net
It is gray with black stiches...

the interior Classic Soft Trim www.classicsofttrim.com

the design / idea ; Me !

I also changed the convertible top. It was blue, but I felt that black would look better, so I changed it to black. And in my opinion it looks way better now.

The only thing that is bothering me now is how the stearing wheel was not well maintained.. I know it will be a pain in the a$$ but I might change it. I will of course use the original one. but in better condition.

the cost depends on location and the seats themselves. the ones without airbags are cheaper then the ones with. Plus this is not the first time they do work for me so I got a discount... My price can be different than yours...

All I can say is that it makes NO SENSE to change your seats or buy used leather seats when is cheaper to do the upholsery using brand new leather... So if you want the orange interior that a lot of people here like you can do it with brand new leather... ahhh the smell of brand new leather....

If this is something you are exploring to do, my suggestion is call one of their locations nearest to you. They can give you a price over the phone.

cool, I’m looking at a few options now, just searching around but I really love how tight that leather came out on your seat, I’ve seen others that look worse that a 90yr old woman that sun tanned too much, basically wrinkled to hell.

Red leather FTW

Locations nearest me.. hmm I should check their site, see where they’re located. probably not in Canada

That happens because of the use... mine was all messed up so when I went for the installation I requested them to replace and add more padding to fill up the inside.

They added and replaced the padding filling all that empty space that would have cause the wrinkles on the leather otherwise...

Some people do not add the padding and the seats come out looking like you mentioned; wrinkled to hell.

Very Nice! Much sportier looking than the Frost. The black center console is key.

Just curious... how much did that set you back?

That's almost exactly what I thought about doing to my frost interior. I was wanting to make the black of the center console extend all the way back to behind the seats. The only difference is that I was going to do the opposite of your seats and leave the outer frost and put black in the middle with a black headrest. I'm glad to see how it would sort of turn out. Looks sweet.

I was going to extend from the center console back but I would have to replace the ^ shaped things behind the head rest and i did not want to see them in black with the headrest in black... I did changed the rear side panels, the lower trim on the doors all the way to the kick panels which were replaced to black as well...
The combo is really good. I was going to have an something embroidery done, like the Z or 350Z but after thinking about it I decided not to and stay with the clean look.
I think i made the right choice...
