Question about bulbs to use for 06 headlights
First I already searched but nothing really on this topic.
I know that the headlights use 3157 bulbs, but when using them with 03-05 cars, it requires you to cut one of the wires on the bulbs so they do not stay on permanently.
My question is, if it is possible to just get 3156 bulbs which are single filament bulbs that only have 1 wire as compared to the 3157 which need to be modified.
Borrowed this picture:
These are the bulbs in comparison:
Thanks

You're making it a bigger deal than it is man. You cut TWO wires off each bulb (they have 4 total). Just chop the middle two and be done with it. Takes all of 10 seconds. You can actually fold down the wire and bend it till it snaps off flush. Bada bing, blinker works like normal now.

Exactly, just get the Sylvania 3157A its the new version which is what I went with supposedly has a longer life then the NA.... Its like 4 bucks you get them and take cutting plyers and cut the two middle wires it literally takes 2 minutes...
You can try the other bulbs... I havent seen anyone use those yet, give it a try and do a write up. Looking at the diagram it SHOULD work...
