You OWN a Z33 and posted this question? Have you never looked over your shoulder while in the driver's seat? Did you see any conceivable room where a seat could be installed?

Wondering about a 2+2 Z model? How about the 1979 Datsun 280ZX 2+2?

you sure about that?

911 2.0-litre / O, A and B series (1964–1969)
The earliest editions of the 911 had a 130 PS[1] (96 kW) six-cylinder engine, in the "boxer" configuration like the 356, air-cooled and rear-mounted, displaced 1991 cm³ (cc) compared with the 356's four-cylinder, 1600 cc unit. The car had four seats although the rear seats are very small, and the car is usually called a 2+2 rather than a four-seater (the 356 was also a 2+2).

You guys are all wrong. I just got off the phone with Nissan HQ and they confirmed the 2010 Z will come equipped with 2 cribs with recaro harnesses fitted underneath the rear strut bar-for infants only ofcourse, obviously its impractical to fit adults underneath there, a child safety lock on the hatch so the babies don't fall out and etch-a-sketchs built into the rear windshield to keep them occupied.

This "rear seat in Z" thread comes back every 6 or months or so.

It's difficult to resist posting responses since some take this so seriously. I probably should be put into the penalty box for keeping it going.

It's already been done- a kid on here cut out the rear partition about 5 months ago and took some pictures of him sitting in the back in a makeshift back seat.

He got flamed so hard he took the pictures down. I should have saved them.

Just curious, how does one think about this horrible idea? Someone just wakes up in the morning and decides to put G35 rear seats in a Z???

Here is proof a person can be accommodated in the rear of a Z33. I'm sure G35 seats would fit too if sufficiently compressed in a compactor.
