So I got some cheapo chrome turn signal bulbs to eliminate any amber color in my headlight..... Needless to say the bulbs are of poor quality and the connection to the wiring harness was CRAPPY, so it was a very LOOSE connection... I was having trouble with the bulb actually working, since the connection was so loose. So I tried to tinker with it and the bulb ended up falling INTO the headlight housing... What a piece of crap!!!!! Does anyone know somewhere that makes a GOOD chrome turn signal bulb and has a TIGHT connection to the harness??? Here's a pic of my bulb in the headlight housing.... I'm gonna be fishing this one out for hours

 

I don't know where you'd find the bulb but thanks for the post! By far the funniest thing i've read this week! LOL.. I'm just picturing your face when it popped off in there cause I know what'd I'd be doing if it happened to me. Sorry I find it so amusing.

StealthAuto sells something similar, but they charge $30 and they run at 27W.

Sylvania makes a bulb (Silverstar) that looks kind of blue and lights amber, but these run at 29W. You can find these at Amazon.

Are people still having problems with these bulbs melting the housing?

 

Well, got my turn signal bulb out with a claw tool..... Whew! Now I'm going to be shopping for some new turn signal bulbs!!! I saw some LED ones that looked cool... Anyone know where I can buy some?!

 

Same thing happened to me.

Now I have to look forward to removing the front bumper and head light this weekend, to get the damn light bulb out
