Question Billet Grill for 350z!

Does anyone have either of these grills on their Z?

If so, is it good quality, and is it easy to install?

I found them on eBay, but cant tell what the difference is? Besides price????

Does the $69.00 one look to be a good deal?

Billet Grille $119.95

Billet Grille $69.00

They look nice! I like the more expensive one though. I'm wondering how they hook on too...

I know this is an old trend, but has anyone mounted either one of these grills?? And I was wondering if the stock grill comes off for this billet grill, cause I don't see the need for two grills on the car. One needs to come off.

DURSO, you car is beautiful, don't get the billet style grills man. Those belong on trucks. You should just get the chrome door stripping and put it on your stock grill. Even though so many people have it, it looks good nevertheless.

I would suggest going that route, better looking IMHO and cheaper for sure.

Hey, Victor, are you the same one with a different screen name??? And where did "Mike" come from??

Anyway, I like how they look, but they also look heavy. Don't know if I would truly buy one, but they look decent.

I bought the $69.00 one. I haven't mounted yet, but it looks pretty good. The brushed aluminum matches the doors very well. they attach using black zip ties. I know this sounds crappy, but the way its designed they, don't stick out at all. If you like you can even remove the exsiting grill and mount it. Overall, I'm very satisfied

YOU CANNOT REMOVE THE EXISTING GRILLE! The bumper and grille are one piece of molded plastic. Look at the edges and you will see.

I agree with Vic, don't get that grille. I makes the front of the car look like an electric razor. You might notice in my sig that I have a grille. I got a black race (bird's eye) grille from grille tech. It is a little cheap, but it fits the bill. It keeps the front cowl looking like a black hole and it keeps the bugs out of my Injen, which is why I bought it. If you want to look at the grille tech piece, here is a pick of my car after a race (mine is in the foreground):

You may be right about the grill removal. As I stated I have not installed yet. However, c'mon guys lets not bash something because we choose different. To me, most of the other choices of grill look like fireplace screen. But to each his own. I plan to show this vehicle, and this grill suits my needs. I'll post pics when I get my camera next week

I bought the $69 dollar billet grill and love the look. You can see a pic on the brickyard thread.

There was recently a post regarding a leaky A/C condenser caused by a rock on the freeway.Nissan would not repair it under warranty. That's rediculous. Even Chrysler replace my condenser a few years back when the same thing happened.

Well, I do like the grill, although I doubt I will buy one. I really believe that it restricts air flow to our vitals, now that I think about it. I will not dog anyone for having it, but it is just not for me at this point. On a show car, it does get the public's attention though and for some reason, in a show, people like what is different, no necessarily what looks better.

The guy who sells the grill for 119.00 said you have to cut out the black stock grill. It is not an overlay- it replaces the stock black grill. Dunno why they would design one like that....
