Default Pics of the VS II. (Is this normal?)

Oki, the weather finally got good enough that I could take the Z out of the storage unit and (finally) get the VS II mounted that has been sitting in my dining room for forever.

It looks good compared to some of the horror stories I've heard from others. Not warped or bubbled or scratched. However, there is something that concerns me. And I need some opinions if this is normal, acceptable, or worth contacting who I bought it from to see if I should replace it.

Passenger side: Looks pretty good, not much space between the hood and the fender. If you look, you can just see a bit of moulding peeking out, but you have to look pretty hard.

Driver side: Larger gap and the moulding is fairly obvious. Doesnt look too bad, but I'd have hoped for slightly better fitment, but I dont know its enough to worry about.

And finally, the front shot. Step away a bit and you can see the front and light fitment seems pretty good.

So I need opinions. Im not pointing a finger at anyone in terms of quality issues. I think it looks great except for that small issue. Still, it is enough to make me question. Should I contact the seller?

actually that thing fits better then expected. It looks damn good as well. Aftermarket parts don't always line up perfectly.

I wish I could show you from a distance. I haven't seen an Ings N-spec front with this hood before. Unfortunately I dinged up the front bump and it needs replacing, so Im not gonna post any pictures of that area yet.

Once I replace that front bumper though. I'll definitely update with some pictures.

if anything, i'm noticing a gap between the hood and the front bumper, right smack in the center... I don't think that's a hood issue though. Otherwise it looks pretty damn good.

Even though I don't like the hood much, the fitment doesn't seem too bad for an aftermarket hood.

Oki, sorry for the bump on an old thread. To be honest, it doesnt flow nearly as well as Id hoped with the Ing's N-spec. So much so, that Im considering selling it and just getting a OEM style CF Hood. I'd love to show you but i refuse to put a picture of my cracked bumper.

I actually think it would flow better with a long nose bumper, and since Im replacing the front anyway, I might just do that.

Thanks. Youre right, Im being highly critical. I'd never seen an Ings N-spec Z with the VS II. I thought I was being different and creative, now Im wondering if I was just the only one who didnt realize how poorly the kits flows with the hood.

Right now Im using the standard hood catch. I didnt have to bend mine or anything. The only problem is that its slightly off so I have to give it a solid push for it to catch (Kind scary because CF isnt that solid). That will be remedied when I get my aerocatch installed Im sure.
