Quick question for body kit gurus
My sides are urethane overlays...after time the double sided tape starts sucking and the center of the skirts starts falling off and looks like hellen keller did my install.
Is there any tape that holds really well? I would glue or mould them but for some reason I damage and repiant my sides once a year at least yea so I would still need them semi-removeable

Use some body-glue that will fix it for the next 50years!
If you do it well you wont have to paint it again!
If you have a fax I will fax you the mounting instruction of my skirts, i didn't have to paint it after using the glue!

I used 2 screws inside the door jam, and the 3 factory push pins on the side. We also made a elbow bracket under the car using the stock screw location. it holds the skirt very still.

3M makes a double sided tape that is thin as hell and holds like no other.. It is actually used in the airline field for panel repair..Either hit up the web site or you can get it from a place called FASTENAL.

see my sides are uretane overlays....they also do NOT have any area under the door on the inside as seen here:
i took them off and sanded down all of the old glue on the stock sides and the wings west ones. I cleaned and degreased. I reattached the stock sides so that fit perfect again. I am going to give a few of these options some serious consideration...I am also contemplating using adhesion promoter and some 3M tape and then run a bead of color matched silicone along the top edge to add strenth and make them look moulded.
