Default E-brake boot installation help!!!

I couldn't find anything on google or the DIY forum. Can anyone help me out?

Do you need help with just the boot, or are you replacing the entire thing? The boot is easy. DONT try to remove that rubber thing that surrounds the base...because if you take it off...you will have to glue it back on. The tabs dont come out, they rip off. All you need is to find something that you can use to carefully push the boot down into the center console. I used the blunt end of a drill bit (i was careful, but im sure there are less abrasive tools that are safer). Took all of 60 seconds.

I bought a shift boot and an e-brake boot from the z store. They gave me instructions on how to install the shift boot but they didn't give me instructions on how to install the e-brake boot. The shift boot was a breeze, however I didn't want to mess with the e-brake without proper instructions. Thanks for the help!

Its cuz the Z was not made for the ebrake to be replaceable. Read the instructions posted above and you should be good. If you got any questions, I did this a month or so ago. Its a piitb but totally worth it. Post pics!
