Default Help with OEM spoiler removal

OK, I have searched and found some references for removing the factory GT spoiler.

I took the nuts off of the bolts, I have gotten about 3/5ths of the sticky tape apart using the blank credit card method.

My question is in regards to the clips. Do these just pull out? I am lifting hard enough that the back of the car is lifting up a little. Do they just unclip with force? Or do you have to push some tab or something to release them?

BTW, The OEM GT/track Spoiler is a B!TCH to remove. They use super-duper-last-forever-and-hold-a-ton sticky tape from the depths of hell! I think they attached the spoiler to survive a nuclear explosion

Good God! I am a capable DIY'er, but danm! WTF? My fingertips are almost blistered from pulling up on the spoiler trying to get it lifted up some so I can get the credit-card in there without scratching the paint too badly . I am about to pack it up and take it to a shop I am also starting to think the OEM spoiler is just fine, but too far into the process to stop now. I have scratched the **** out of my hatch so I'll have to get out the sand paper and polish when I am done. HOw in the heII do people remove this in an hour? 30 minutes? 15 minutes? As I have seen in other threads? They may as well have epoxy'd this on there - might be easier to remove!

****! Someone please help me with the damm clips! (I'd have the new one installed in about 2 hours start to finish, taking my time. The install is DIY. The removal of the old wing is NOT)

I am trying to install this:

If I remember correctly you have to remove them from the inside by pulling back the hatch liner underneath the spoiler.

Well, I already pulled out the hatch liner to get the nuts off of the bolts. There does not appear to be access to the area underneath where the clips are. Hmmm...

Lunch-bump? Anyone? Does anyone know how the spoiler clips release? Brute force? Or is there some trick?

You know I'm gonna publish a how-to when I am done, but I don't want to f-up my car too badly
