then i guess i'll go with a black roof.

I almost forgot, the amuse Z has a black roof. If they have it, it can't be wrong. My car is carbon silver which is a very boring color. Ive always wanted a black Z but they didn't have it. If i paint the roof black, at least it'll break down the overall gray color and look nice.

Your body shop is ripping you off. Extra 200 for black paint? ha.

I would definitely go with painted black roof. But why does it cost more to paint black? Perphaps, you could shop around a little more.

yep. Im thinking of not fixing it and just putting some overlay on. I don't think it's worth paying 600 for a tiny scratch that is barely noticeable.

Here, tell me if it's worth it to pay so much for this:

what you need to do is find another shop. I've been in body work, not that back yard shop body shop either and i'll say it again. You are getting ripped off.

edit: think about it like this, a lot of people on here get their front bumper fitted, prepped and painted with quality paint and install for less than 500, what makes you think fixing that small , easy and flat roof for 600 dollars? then adding 200 more for black?

For what I paid to get my roof painted black and the body work you need done, I wouldn't pay more than $450.00

Ok, ive decided. Im going to put carbon fiber on the roof. This way i dont have to pay for repairs and paint.

Does anyone know where to get a CF roof overlay, the best one, mastergrade or something, and how much is it? Thanks guys.

Yeah fix it, and put Bat's overlay over it. That way if you get sick of it, just take it off. What are you dropped on, car looks awesome!

I just got a mastergrade roof overlay from Jim&Chuck Showstoppers... Great quality CF piece. I just wanted to ask those who've put this thing on: what things should I avoid/keep in mind when putting it on to insure a good install? And are there any problems when driving with it on?
