Replacing EVO-R duct... will other brands fit in hole?

Will other brand ducts fit well in the cut out made for an Evo-r duct..

or should I ask is there any that won't fit without additional work?

or at least maybe people could help me out with the dimensions of the holes for other brands of ducts?
