did you get authentic Veilside? And did you get the right version? there's a different lip for 03-05's to the 06+'s.....

it is authentic, i ordered it for 03-05. It was just a bad lip. Bodyshop did an awesome job trying to get it to fit on the car. Unless someone at veilside or intensepower stuck it in the wrong box, everything else fit perfect

Shot from the back nails it. Always liked the wheels too.
Fitment drives me nuts - You spend a lot of money on
an authentic item, and then it doesn't fit quite properly -
not acceptable.

This pic kinda tells me that the lip doesn't even look like it's installed properly... The side of the lip doesn't even come close to the bumper. I've heard the VS CF Lip is a really tight fit, to the point where it needs to be forced in to fit, but once it goes on, it fits like a glove...Maybe have the bodyshop take a look at it again?

^^they spend 8 hours working on it, its just bad lip. They done hundreds of others. They had to do some cutting to get it to fit on there like that, the middle was almost a half inch to wide. They thought it was a from fit too, and they said there was no way it would fit on the bumper, even folding it almost in half (they re-painted it anyway)

The lip fitment looks horribly off.

Everything else looks good.

yeah he lives in same area as me. Not really anybody else around here though unfortunately. I need to do some body work to mine also. I want a new front and rear bumper at a minimum, guess it will wait until after ZDAYZ.

Rackstraw, they do lots of restoration and everyone raves on their paint jobs. And they are busy as hell, which is always a good sign. Come in there with an ebay kit and he'll tell you to GTFO. While i was there, the were doing my car, a few insurance claims and a 79 corvette pace car

we totally need to hang bro, just dont try and draft me into the army, i have no job at the moment, am good with firearms, grew up an offiicer's kid (US Navy Lt. Cmdr), value my own life little, and dont mind killing brown people

he does great painting, ill give you his number if you want, i told him i'd send him some bussiness, just make sure you have another car, it will take about a week for them to get it all done, but its worth the wait
