From the research I've done some people have blacked out their emblems using VHT nightshades to sort of tint it so it appears black chrome looking. I attempted this with my back emblem and it came out horrible. Then again, I'm not a very good painter. I ended up just getting them from courtesy parts. Looks pretty good on my CS IMO.

I could paint a set for you if you want I guess? I use automotive paint/clear and can color match it to anything you want (if that's what you want?). Just throwing that out there. Or you can rattle can it too I suppose.

i've got a friend who's going to do it. we're going to see how well smoking them with candy paint will work.

Be sure to clean them with wax/grease remover and do not touch the surface at all prior to painting them.

Once I get my rims I am going to paint mine gold, I just need to see the color first so I can match it. Just make sure you prep VERY well, and use some automotive paint and clear coat as well.
