Default Mounting a Blitz Rear Spoiler

I'm just wondering how everyone has been mounting their Blitz rear spoiler. I'm not really into drilling holes into the back of my truck lid and I'm seriously considering only using 3M doubled sided tape.

Thoughts???

i think you should drill about 7 holes on the top of the spoiler....is this authentic blitz or the evo-r?

Authentic Blitz comes with adhesive attached. I didn't drill holes and it's been on for about a year? The bodyshop said you'd probably almost rip the hatch apart to get it off. Saturn and a few other makes just use strong adhesives now. The shop actually worked on a saturn wreck and separated the trunk metal when attempting to pull a spoiler off. You can lift the suspension on the car by pushing the spoiler. It's strong.

Either way you need a repaint when removed.

After my car accident, It took about 20 minutes to get that spoliler off. All it was held on by was with 3m double sided tape. I'm telling you...that stuff is REALLY strong. I actually had to use a knife, and jam it inbetween the spoiler and hatch to cut the tape loose before i could even get enough leverage to get it off...that at which point I cracked the spoiler a tad bit.

Good 3M double sided tape is more than strong enough.

Looks Like I'm leaning heavily to the 3m double side tape. Thanks for all the responses... keep 'em coming.
