I wouldn't do a sunroof on the Z. The body of the Z is a stressed structural component. If you start cutting it up, you'll get flexing/ torquing with as much slop as a G.

It would not flow with the body at all, and would reduce body stiffness.

Structural problems? I doubt it without seeing actual data but, I do kinda wonder why Nissan does not offer it. My biggest concern would be it leaking.

I suppose this is not an OE. The other member has the same thing:

do a search for "Webasto". They make an aftermarket sunroof setup for the 350Z (actually they are the only company I am aware of that does), installed price seems to be $700-$800. You can find local dealers on Webasto's website.

Durso was one of the first members here that I remember having one; just search for threads started by him and you should find some pictures, I remember he had a few good close-ups.

Default Webasto Holinda 300 Medium

Flush with roof, great lines with option 2 is pressed - sunroof glass spoilered up and back...never leaked...

had it for about 4 years now..got it two days after buying the car.

structural issue: none! - i drift and autoX my car and have never felt any abnormal issues..

sorry for the night pics...all i got right now..
